I just want to take a minute and tell you what a wonderful place you have. I was unsure booking something from the internet, but I could not be happier. I have traveled a lot in the U.S. and abroad and am very impressed with how relaxing, homey and clean the room I stayed in was. I am definitely coming back. - Cris
I just spent the weekend at the Silver Moon Inn and was absolutely satisfied with my stay. The customer service was exceptional! The young man who helped us was so nice and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The location was also great...only a 5 minute walk to downtown Estes Park where all the shops and restaurants are. I highly recommend this place. - Bella
Just returned home (southern Illinois) yesterday from Estes Park after a 4 day stay at the Silver Moon Inn. I had searched quite a while on the net and finally made a decision to stay at the Silver Moon. Three other couples stayed with our group and I did not hear one negative thing about our stay. I think they were all pleased with the accomodations. Very handy location. Close to town and can easily access the main routes to travel. Thanks to Tom's son for printing up information on the Longs Peak history. All things I have to say are positive, and would certainly recommend to anyone. Great Place!!! - Bob Perry
It is impossible to say enough nice things about our hosts Tom and Katie, owners of the Silver Moon Inn. They obviously take pride in their hotel and truly care about each guest’s experience. All the rooms are clean and well maintained, the kids love the pool while the adults enjoy sitting alongside the river. Barbequeing dinner was a blast and elk wandered over from Performance Park next door. Loved you can walk downtown in about a minute and a half. Shortest “within walking distance” ever! This was an unforgettable vacation experience and I thank wholeheartedly the finest innkeepers I have ever met. - Diana, Hawaii
GETTING READY TO PLAN OUR 2010 VACATION, AND WE ARE COMING RIGHT BACK TO WHERE WE WERE LAST YEAR. ESTES PARK FEELS LIKE HOME, AND THE SILVER MOON INN WAS 100% FANFASTIC. LOCATION, LOCATION. WALK TO EVERYTHING! SOOTHING SOUNDS OF THE RIVER OUT FRONT, AND DOORS AND WINDOWS COULD BE LEFT OPEN, I WAS AMAZED AT NO BUGS FLYING IN. We stayed at Silver Moon August 11 through 14 on the recommendation of a friend. I have to tell you it wasnt what he said it was....... it was even better! We loved sitting by the river at night (only 40 feet from our room). Silver Moon had lots of comfortable chairs to choose from along with propane grills to use and firepits to sit by. Silver Moon even provided wood to burn and marshmallows to roast! The staff was great to us, and we borrowed movies from Silver Moons extensive video library for the boys to watch. Our boys 7 and 9, loved the pool and hot tubs too. And the location was the best in Estes....literally a 90 second walk to the shops on Elkhorn. So great to not have to get in the car and drive downtown then look for parking. The best breakfast in Estes was a 90 second walk as well and a Performance Park right next door where there were free concerts two of the nights we were there. The first night we saw some elk in the Performance Park lawn area at dusk. This was a great experience for us and the way moteling should be and made us feel like we were staying in a cabin with all the amenities of a class motel. I meant to write sooner, but the summer got away from me. We visited Estes Park over the 4th of July 2009. The Silver Moon Inn is an awsome place to stay if in the Estes area. The location is great, you can walk to downtown (which saves the hastle of driving in the downtown area), we even walked to the arial tram. The river in front of the Inn is an incredible site. The rushing water is a very relaxing sound, we slept with the windows and the balcony door open just to hear the water. The very large room was very nice, king size bed, futon for the girls to share, fireplace, private balcony, large bathroom. The staff was very pleasant and helpfull. They were always with a smile and could help with directions. We will definately stay here again. - Jodi and family, Nebraska

Just wanted to share with you our experience at the Silver Moon Inn. We were at there over the 4th of July weekend, 2009. We stayed in room 219. The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious, and above all, every staff member we encountered was friendly, warm and helpful. We felt like we were at home. I loved the location the most; the river running in front of the hotel. It was very relaxing! My 5 children loved the pool, jacuzzi and my little one enjoyed the play area. We had a wonderful time Everyone was really nice. The room was perfect for our family. We have six year old twin boys, and being able to cook out on the grill while they played on the playground was awesome. The heated pools and hot tubs were very clean, and perfect after long days of hiking. The boys also enjoyed the board games and the movies. We will definitely return. Thank you for everything. This was a wonderful place to stay. You never know for sure what you are going to get at a place you've never seen, but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are gorgeous. The river coming through is just beautiful. It was such a nice hotel. Everyone was very nice. The environment was very comfortable and we were able to sit around the campfire outside and talk to other people staying there. I can't express how great this place really was! I intended to write sooner, but nonetheless wanted to send a note to tell you how great the Silver Moon Inn was! We were there October 24-27, 2008. The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious, and above all, every staff member we encountered was friendly, warm and helpful. We felt very comfortable there. The complimentary breakfast was just right, and we really enjoyed the proximity to the downtown section of Estes Park and being able to walk there! Also, the little playground was a nice touch for our four year old daughter!
